The Business Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our business system, and associated applications, to support and enhance our business agility and associated processes. This individual is expected to work closely with cross functional teams, including Sales, Operations and Finance and other key business partners. This position will require good understanding of business processes and business operations, the finance and stock operations. It will be required to provide various solutions to the business in a timely manner. The position is based at our headquarters in Utrecht.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage migration from NAVISION 2009 to MS Dynamics
- Lead definition , development , testing and integration of Automation processes to be added to MS Dynamics
- Function as technical expert in identifying, evaluating, designing and developing systems and processes and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
- Define Requirements with different business units of the company
- Configuring the system to support solutions where applicable
- Maintain NAVISION variant configuration to support sales quotation automation
- Create test metrics, test plans, identify regression tests and partners for system, integration and regression tests
- Configure reporting to address business , operations and finance requirements
- Lead efforts of off-shore/ 3rd party development resources
- Coordinate with business units to ensure appropriate integration and user acceptance testing
- Create and/or execute appropriate training programs to ensure user competence
- Communicate the final solution to the business and coordinating the implementation of the solution to the production environment
- Create / update system, user and workflow documentation
- Coordinate and manage BI system implementation
- Coordinate and manage a quote configurator system implementation
- Coordinate and manage the integration of a warehouse barcode system

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
- Communicate with business users to identify business needs and write functional specifications for new systems, systems changes and/or system enhancements
- Work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects with competing priorities
- History of meeting/exceeding deadlines and delivering high quality results
- Proven ability to identify, focus, and own high priority tasks
- Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent project management skills
- High aptitude for interpreting technical documentation as well as authoring or updating documents including help desk run books, and training documentation
- Able to effectively present complex solutions to technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization
- Ability to summarize and present findings and challenges to senior level executives
- Knowledge of BI tools
- Proficient in general IT (database, security, networking) concepts
Requirements
- BS in Information Systems or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Proven experience with BI tools
- Project management experience
- Functional knowledge of Navision and Dynamics including Data Base knowledge and ability to customize parameters and reports
- Develop practices to objectively view and effectively explain an issue or resolution from an end-user/customer/business perspective
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
