For our client in Drunen we are looking for a Cisco Systems Engineer. In this role you will carry out several duties, in order that we continue to deliver exceptional services to our clients. As such (with support) you might be designing a network, testing your designs and liaising with the lead engineer in order to set up and pre-stage the system. You may have to work with the NOC, using your networking knowledge to support clients directly or you may be asked to go to a client site (if it’s sensible and practical) to lead the implementation.
You will:

- Lead Enterprise Network deployments and migrations on critical environments through a complete project life cycle
- Prepare and liaise with Lead Engineers in order to pre-stage network equipment
- Design, pre-stage and implement networks
- Build full lifecycle packages for a seamless deployment with minimal service impact
- Be responsible for full project lifecycle design
- Provide support to clients through our NOC
- Work on the latest Cisco technology for enterprise networks and industry 4.0
- Liaise with external specialist teams (Server, Security, Compliance, Subject Matter Experts, Field Engineers…) to deliver projects in a timely fashion
- Provide some training of support / operations staff in routing and switching as a Subject Matter Expert in this technology.
You’ll need:
- CCNA / CCNP
- 3+ years’ working with Cisco networks.
- Some support or NOC experience, dealing with customers directly
- Customer focused positive attitude
- To be based within a “daily commute” of our offices in Drunen
